When it comes to fashion, my two girls couldn’t be further apart: Big Sis loves baseball caps and denim jackets and tracksuit pants, while Lil Sis is all about the floral headbands, and the frills and flounce.
And can we chat about the pink?!
When Hatley got in touch to ask if we wanted to try a dress from their clothing range, I knew Lil Sis would be thrilled. We’re already huge fans of their fabulous raincoats, and when I checked out the kids’ fashion in their online store I could see straight away the dresses were 100 percent ‘her’.
After much deliberation, I chose this Hatley fuchsia watercolour flowers party dress because, well, pink. Plus, I knew Lis Sis would adore the full, swishy skirt and the waist sash that tied in a big bow.
When she opened the package, she literally let out a gasp and – of course – wanted to try it on right away.
So we did. And then we took some photos, because she just looked so gorgeous!
Lis Sis loved the way the skirt flared out when she spun around, while I loved the great fit, the quality of the fabric and the fact the dress is machine washable. Pretty AND practical.
At £33, it’s the perfect special occasion dress, and ideal for birthdays and summer weddings.

Wow that picture in the fiels is really really pretty (I guess you daughter has something to do with it).
I was looking at pictures of myself as a child the other day and realised that actually, my mom never dressed me in pink (but she used to put millions of ribbons in my hair ahah!)
