I remember stumbling across ALICE’S SHOP the first time I visited Oxford. This was the very store where Alice – the real-life girl who inspired Lewis Carroll’s quirky classics – used to buy sweets after school.
Today it’s a souvenir store, but it’s quite a magical feeling to wander around there, knowing this very spot played such an integral part in the timeless tales of Carroll’s (whose real name, by the way, was actually Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Who knew?).
I grew up reading Alice in Wonderland and watching the original Disney movie, so was thrilled when the girls fell in love with Tim Burton’s more recent adaptation. Which meant we were ALL really excited to hear the next instalment, Alice Through the Looking Glass, was about to be released on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital download. Squeeeee!
And now it’s time for you to be excited, as I’m giving away a copy of Alice Through The Looking Glass on blu-ray. To enter, simply cross your fingers and follow the Rafflecopter prompts. Good luck.
Alice Through The Looking Glass is out on 3D Blu-Ray ™, Blu-Ray™ and DVD Digital Download 3rd October (©2016 Disney).
