Well, I hope you’re happy Tara – this week’s Gallery posting stretched my tired, pregnant brain almost to breaking point. Novels? Yeah, I remember reading them once upon a time, before I had children. Used to quite enjoy them too, if I remember correctly.
But to actually have the mental capacity to cleverly link one of my favourite books, to a relevant photo? You are asking waaaaay too much of me at the moment.
There’s also the fact that I mostly read horror and crime novels, and I don’t think anyone would want to view a photo that relates in any way to a book titled ‘Scream For Me’ or ‘A Good Day to Die’.
So, I’ve taken a bit of an easy way out, and picked this pic:
The book it relates to, predictably, is Little Red Riding Hood. I know, it’s a bit of a tenuous stretch, but too bloody bad – it’s the best I can do considering my current reduced mental capacity.
This is Lucia in her Santa Claus costume last Xmas. Before I had kids I swore I’d never dress them up in embarrassing outfits, but that all changes once you actually become a parent, and you realise just how freakin’ funny it is! Am I right, Mums?
In fact I’ve already earmarked a Christmas Pudding costume for Baby 2 to don this festive season. Genius!! BTW: Before you panic, Lucia does actually have two legs…
