Lil Sis has always been our little fashion plate; she’s the one you’ll find in front of the mirror, trying new hairstyles and turning this way and that.
I always joke that you can find her by following the trail of discarded outfits, and she also has the most annoying habit of trying on my clothes and – even though she’s swimming in them – looking much better in them than I do. What’s that all about?
She loves floaty, feminine clothing, but also loves pieces that are quirky and cute. Which is why I knew she’d adore the Milk & Biscuits range, which takes classic styles and gives them a fun, contemporary twist.
Like this Deer Cocoon Coat; isn’t it gorgeous? When I had the chance to try some of their winter fashion and pick something from their A/W 2016 range I knew straight away this was the one. The deep maroon suited her auburn hair perfectly, and the Scandi-style jacquard print is just the cutest.
I didn’t think Lil Sis’s Next pink bobble hat would go with the rich red background, but she tried it on the colours just seemed to work.
I loved that the coat had a 60’s loose cut, which meant it fit easily over her winter jumpers and would last much longer than a fitted style. Lil Sis loved the adorable design, and the fact it was both comfy and padded for extra cosiness.
