BEST FOOT FORWARD (funky kids footwear that won’t break the bank)

I love a bargain, me.

When I found some cute slip-on shoes last summer in PRIMARK for just £2.50 a pair, I snapped up a couple in each of the girls’ sizes.

They were ideal for slipping on and off for the school run, and to wear while playing out in the garden. And when they got dirty I just chucked them in with a load of washing and they came out good as new.

I regretted not buying more at the time so when I popped back in to Primark again the other day and found they had them in store, I stocked right up with ten pairs in different colours and sizes.

The girls love them, and they’re perfect for the school hols. They’re light and easy to pack, simple for the girls to put on without any help. And if they end up get trashed, well, we’ve more than had our £2.50’s worth out of them.

See? Told you they were a bargain!

Aww fab!! They are a bargain! Guess where I’ll be going tomorrow when I’m in town…hehehe

  2. Well, yeah. Never mind that there are underage workers making them in sweatshops and living in poverty because of it. Because, you know, you got your cheap shoes. *eye roll*

My kids wreck their shoes in minutes, so it’s galling to have to keep constantly forking out for them!!! x

  4. They’re adorable! I feel a shopping trip coming on.
