I’ve always wanted a food processor, but I could never quite justify one.
I’m not a great cook, nor do I really have time to become one, so it kind of felt a bit superfluous – like buying a Ferrari to do the school run.
But I got the chance to try this KENWOOD FP190 food processor and liquidiser from Littlewoods and, you know what? It’s bloody brilliant!
I started off a bit tentatively, whizzing up some breadcrumbs for some home-made Chicken Kievs. And then I got cocky; I boiled some sweet potato chunks, and blended them into a smooth puree to go with our turkey roast.
When OH woke up on Sunday with a sore throat, I whipped him up an orange, raspberry and banana smoothie to give him a blast of vitamin C.
So it turns out I’m a food-processing natural… a blending machine! Next, I’m planning to tackle some homemade soup. Then, who knows?? The blending world is my oyster.
Check out Littlewood’s range of BLENDERS for yourself. You never know – you might end up food processing as well as me (but probably not).

I’ve been umming and ahhing over whether to buy a food processor for a while now. My mum was a religious user of the FP when I was growing up. I’m still trying to weigh up whether my kitchen worktop can cope with another shiny piece of gadgetry though!
