We’ve had a phenomenal summer so far in the South East – sunny days, and balmy nights. However, this is still the UK, so those perfect summer moments have been punctuated with grey days and good old British downpours.
Our house is busting at the seams at the best of times, so the girls get a bit like caged animals when they can’t go outside. They’re either picking fights with each other, complaining that they’re hungry, or making a God-awful mess with a piece of paper and a pair of safety scissors.
Sing hallelujah for UNIVERSITY GAMES, who sent us this quirky BOWLING ZOMBIES set to try out. Designed like a traditional skittles game, you set up the zombie pins around the fair maiden, then attempt to roll the bomb ball so it only hits the undead.
I set this up in the hallway and, Voila! The girls stopped beating each other up and focused on collectively kicking some zombie butt instead. They had a blast, the house stayed tidy(ish), and it was great practice for their hand-eye coordination.
It was dead good fun too. Sorry.
