We were on the way back from the girls’ swimming lesson when we took a little detour through the public fields that run alongside. It was just before 5pm, so the sun was on its way down, and the light had that magical golden Autumn glow.
I sent the girls on ahead and couldn’t resist snapping a few shots of them on my iPhone, silhouetted against the setting sun.
If you ignore the telephone mast in the distance (!) this could have been taken in the middle of nowhere – in actual fact there’s a school and a busy suburb right behind us.
A lovely calm interlude, in an otherwise hectic day.
