EXPRESSIONS – Diary of a Diva

This week’s Gallery prompt is ‘Expressions’, and I immediately thought of these pics of Big Sister taken about 18 months ago, which always make me laugh…

Before you think it’s a bit cruel that I was taking photos and laughing, rather than comforting her – let me reassure you that she wasn’t in pain, or real distress – she was simply in a stroppy mood and having a diva moment (she gets that from her father…).

She still pulls them now, except her histrionics have now evolved to include throwing her head into her hands, flinging herself to the floor, and rolling around, screaming: ‘Nooooooooooooooooooo!’. And they still make me laugh…

Mom-on-a-Wire: LOL! Wouldn’t it just? Will have to remember that…

PhotoPuddle: The first one is my fav too. When Big Sis was little she always used to cry with her mouth closed!? Which was great for me because it meant that she wasn’t very loud – unlike Little Sister who nearly splits my eardrums!! x

Mummy Mishaps: How did you know? That’s exactly what I was planning to do! 😉 x

  12. Brilliant! I’m also prone to reach for the camera at apparently-inappropriate moments.
I do find the Diva Days get even more hysterical when they’re caught on film…

Brilliant! My son has a diva moment when In the Night Garden or Postman Pat has finished, or when I put his dinner in the oven….

The first photo in your selection makes me want to give her a cuddle x
