Now I’m not a particularly crafty person, so I was feeling rather pleased with myself earlier this week when I managed to complete a little DIY project in the girls’ room.
I wanted to make a little blackboard wall, but OH quickly put an end to my dreams, reminding me that chalk, toddlers, and cream carpets are don’t mix. I grudgingly had to agree. So it was on to ‘Plan B’.
I went down to the local DIY store and bought some *magnetic paint (it’s not actually magnetic, instead it contains iron powder so it becomes attractive to magnets).
So here’s what I did…
*Make sure the paint you buy is suitable for use in children’s areas

What a brilliant idea. Think I will do this in my kids room to. They would love it.
Wow, that’s a great idea!
Fantastic! Well done you; I love it when a DIY project comes together 🙂
That’s so cool! Well done Jax! Nice to see you have inherited some of Poppa Linz’s DIY genes. Hope Danny was suitably impressed cos we are!
Wow, what a fantastic idea. Didn’t even know paint like that existed. I am definitely going to give that one a go, but maybe wait till she is a little older (she is only 6 months!!)
Well done on your DIY though, I am useless when it comes to things like that.
Emma 🙂
