Today Big Sis got invited to a kids’ event I just know she’s going to go crazy for. I decided to keep it a surprise, but wanted to build the anticipation.
This is how the conversation went…
‘In a couple of weeks, you and I are going somewhere very special!’
‘Where is it?’
‘I can’t tell you; it’s a surprise.’
‘Is it Peppa Pig?’
‘No.’
‘Just whisper it in my ear.’
‘I can’t! It’s a surprise!’
* mulls it over for a moment *
‘Will it have food and drink?’
‘Yes.’
‘And a toilet?’
‘Ermmmm… yeeeees…’
‘YAY! WE’RE GOING TO EAT SOME FOOD, AND GO TO THE TOILET!’
Weirdo.
