Just before Christmas, I treated myself to something sleek, and moulded from rubber. Minds out of the gutter, people; I’m talking about my new Hunter wellies.
Fate brought us together. Schuh.co.uk had recently added a fab new kids’ range, so I was having a bit of a nosey to find some trainers for the girls.

Then it happened. My eyes crossed a crowded website page, and there they were. Tall… regal… waterproof. Perfect.
Yes, they were a bit of an investment, price-wise, but we moved to a semi-rural area two years ago, and now the girls are a bit older our favourite family past-time is to head to the nearby woodlands for a good splash about in the puddles.
I couldn’t resist. We were clearly meant to be together. Here’s some pics of us. Don’t we make an amazing couple?
Even when I’m not wearing them, I like to look at them, praying for rain, and dreaming of the next time they’ll adorn my feet. Yes. I know how weird that makes me sound, but love makes you do crazy things.
It’s not like I kiss them goodnight, or anything (well, not that you can prove).
