Would you like to go Christmas shopping at TK Maxx? the email began.
As I continued to read, I got more excited: I’d get to peruse the incredible range at TK MAXX, and my challenge was to find six Christmas presents for £30 a head… was I interested?
Hmmmmm… let me think about it for a moment… OF COURSE!
A few days later, I turned up to go Christmas shopping at TK Maxx, my heart pounding with anticipation. I had two hours before I had to pick Big Sis up from school; the moment for kidding around had passed. This was serious shopping time.
At first I just turned in circles, eyes wide, wondering where in the sparkling Aladdin’s Cave I should start. Then I spotted the Accessories department. And I was off.

I found this fab studded clutch bag, £19.99, and my pulse quickened. Then I noticed these super-comfy memory foam slippers, £9.99. Bam! That was my cousin sorted. TOTAL: £29.98.

Next stop: the mens’ department to find a little something for OH, from the girls. Two pairs of fancy trunks, £10.99 each, and a designer wash bag, £7.99, to replace Daddy’s tatty old one. Done! TOTAL: £29.97.

Lil Sis was my next target, and I just couldn’t resist these gorgeous sheepskin boots. Aren’t they adorable? TOTAL: £24.99.

This was a bit of a splurge – a genuine leather bowling bag. Fantastic quality, and perfect for Mum. TOTAL: £39.99
But I clawed some money back with Big Sis’ pressie – some cool dress-up costumes (as modelled by the girls in the top pic). Cinderella dress, £9.99, and the Fairy Princess dress, £12.99. TOTAL: £22.98.

Finally, the perfect present for my bestie: this funky striped scarf: £16.99, and this cool indoor/outdoor lantern, £14.99. TOTAL: £31.98.
Doing my Christmas shopping at TK Maxx wasn’t just fun it was so easy too. The hard part is yet to come – actually giving them away.
On further thought, maybe I’ll keep them all and buy everyone chocolates instead…

What fab gifts – TK Maxx here I come xx
