Hasn’t the recent weather been amazing?!
We’ve been going a bit BBQ crazy recently (there’s nothing wrong with BBQ for brekkie, lunch AND dinner, right?) and the girls have ended up a bit sun jaded. They’ve picnicked, they’ve played in the back garden, they’ve al-fresco’d their little butts off. So when a box turned up from BAKER ROSS, I think they were just relieved to have an excuse to sit down inside and chill.
There were all sorts of kids’ crafts and goodies inside, but my favourite was this cute butterfly kit. I gritted my teeth and let the girl loose with the PVA glue and they used squares of jewel-coloured cellophane to create this ‘stained glass’ effect.
Isn’t it cute?!
I loved that the girls were having fun, while they were being creative. And, I was recently told that these kinds of arts and crafts are fantastic for developing hand-eye coordination, so it really is an ‘everyone wins’ situation. Thanks Baker Ross!
