AND THEN THE GROUND OPENED UP…

Walking into our local cafe, there were two well-dressed women in the window seat where the girls and I usually sat.

Lil Sis marched right up to them, put her hands on her hips, and glared until they stopped talking, and turned to look at her.

‘My MUMMY’S seat!’ she shouted. ‘Go ‘way!’

Looks like we’ll be finding a new cafe to frequent…

Oh God in a few weeks or months, when Aaron is saying even more than he already is, that is exactly the sort of thing he would do……
You must have wanted the ground to swallow you up.

  3. Hilarious! I’m dreading that embarrassing stage where children say exactly what they’re thinking ( not quite there with the 3-year-old). Here’s hoping they grow out of it

Woops. I’ve heard they grow out of it by about 14. My daughter told the woman next to us in the supermarket how she has lice and they make her scratch her neck. I explained that she did catch lice once and we got rid of them immediately.
