There are many many wonderful things about being a parent, but one of the very best is… getting to go along to shows like Disney on Ice Magical Ice Festival. Squeeeeeeal!
The entire Monkey family will be heading to Wembley Stadium next month to enjoy some icy entertainment from the Disney crew. We’re talking both mouses – Mickey AND Minnie – and Ariel, Rapunzel and Belle. Oh, and a couple you may have heard of, called Elsa and Anna? No, I’ve never heard of them either…
The four of us have never actually been to a show; in fact the last time we went to live production it was In The Night Garden. Big Sis was utterly mesmerised, but Lil Sis was in utero, so she didn’t get to see a lot.
We haven’t told the girls much about it, because we want the day to be a surprise. I can’t wait to see their little faces when the lights go off, and the Disney princesses come out… on ice skates! I mean, seriously, does it get any better?!
