SEEING SPOTS // a cute & classy autumn party look for kids

party dresses for girls - main shot

Lil Sis is one of those kids who makes anything look good. Seriously, it’s actually a bit annoying.

We discovered the BASE FASHION designer kids’ clothing website earlier this year, and I was thrilled to be sponsored by them for BritMums Live. When they asked if we’d like to try something from their fabulous range of party dresses for girls I knew it had to be this gorgeous Mayoral design; Lil Sis had a friend’s party coming up and I could already picture her in it.

PARTY DRESSES FOR GIRLS:

We drive past this little spot every day on our way to school, and I just loved the way it looked like a little doorway of hedgerow and tangled blackberry. So, on our way to the party, we stopped to take some photos.

The tulip skirt of the dress gave it a ballerina look, so pulled Lil Sis’s hair up in dancer’s bun. Finally, I teamed the dress with ochre yellow Next tights and black leather Clarks boots, to give it an Autumn feel.
