THE GALLERY (nature)
In the last few years we’ve only really taken autumn breaks (due to work commitments and our refusal to pay obscene peak season prices!).
But we quickly discovered something: the English coastline is just as stunning out of season as it is when the sun is shining – perhaps even more so.
This photo was taken at a rugged little Cornish beach called Pendower, near Truro. It was undoubtably winter coat and Wellies weather, and as we walked the steep path down to the bay a rainstorm began to brew off shore, knitting together a patchwork of black clouds.
I took this pic on my i-Phone, aiming straight into the storm. It’s hard to capture the nuances of nature on any camera – let alone one attached to a phone – but I was pleasantly surprised to see this image looked JUST like it had in real life.
A teensy bit of tweaking in Instagram made the colours come alive, and there was our Cornish rainstorm: eerie, powerful, beautiful.

Gorgeous!!
What a stunning sky – amazing
