BARBIES, BUTTERFLIES AND BIRTHDAYS! (win a barbie dvd)

Not long ago Big Sis had a very serious birthday. As she likes to remind me (often) she’s now an entire half-decade old. ‘I can do it Mum,’ she tells me. ‘I’m five now.’ ‘I’ll wash my own hair, I’m five.’ ‘I can reach it on my own because…’ 

Yes, OK, I get it – you’re five!

So when an invite arrived for the Barbie Butterfly Ball at London Zoo this Sunday, I knew this was the perfect way for us to mark the big occasion.

The Ball marks the release of the new Barbie™ Mariposa and the Fairy Princess dvd, officially released on 26 August. We’ll be attending a special screening of the new movie, then we’ll have the chance to meet Barbie™ herself *squeeeeeeeal!*. 

Afterwards we’ll be one of the first to visit the zoo’s Woodland Walk, which has been transformed into a magical trail full of butterfly surprises. We’ve even heard that, if you look closely enough, you might spot the exceptionally rare Barbie™ Mariposa Pink Butterfly! Finally, we’ll take a wander through the zoo’s stunning Butterfly House (my FAVOURITE part of the zoo). 

Big Sis (who is five, don’t you know) and I can’t wait, but we don’t want you guys to miss out! The Butterfly Walk is open to the public between 18-22 August.
