BUBBLING OVER (dr zigs)

Some things in life are seriously annoying: child-proof bottle caps. Agent Oso. One lone dirty sock turning up just after you turn the washing machine on.

But, perhaps the most annoying of all..?! Bubble mix that doesn’t work. Is there anything sadder than a child’s face, when your bubbles just don’t… well… bubble?

Ladies and Gents – your worries are over. Just check out these bad boys:

These aren’t ordinary bubbles, they’re monster bubbles. Bubbles so massive they don’t float; rather they undulate lazily through the air. The Monkeys were thrilled by the super-sized suds wobbling past them, screaming with glee as they chased them around the park.

So, who was responsible for our Bubblicious Family Fun Day? The lovely Paola at DR ZIGS who sent the Monkeys one of their fab Giant Bubble Kits to try out. YAY!

Dr Zigs is a family business, started 18 months ago purely for the delight of their youngest son, Ziggy, who, as it turned out, was a natural-born bubble connoisseur. Sick of disappointing inferior formulas, they devised their own mix, to create mega bubbles with minimum effort.

We had an absolute blast with our GIANT DRAGON BUBBLES STARTER KIT. Even the girls (aged 2 and 4)managed to make their own ginormous suds.

We can’t wait to go on our next bubbling adventure!

  1. So true, I always feel like a bad mother when the bubble mix doesn’t work, or when a balloon pops! My boys would love this, might give it a try.
