Since moving into our house a year ago we’ve been s-l-o-w-l-y painting and decorating as, and when, money allows.
If you read my blog you might have seem THIS POST about putting a mural up in the girls’ room. It looked great, but it bugged me that the far wall still looked bare and drab:
I’d been looking out for something to give it a bit more oomph – but just couldn’t find the right decoration to match the room and the existing woodland theme. Then, Bingo!
Lucy from Vertbaudet.co.uk got in touch to ask if I want to try out their adorable new insect decorations. The pack includes seven three-dimensional butterflies, and seven dragonflies in lovely bright colours.
I faffed around with them for a while until I was happy they were all in the right place. The pic doesn’t actually do them justice – they look really cute and whimsical, and I love the texture that the 3-D adds to the room.
But, best of all, was Big Sis’s reaction when she got home from playgroup. Her jaw dropped open, and she stared at them for ages, before breathing: ‘WOW!!’
What do you think??

Love them- look fab and completely changes white wall x
They look really pretty, love them against the white also! theyr’e not typically babyish so you could keep them for years! 🙂
I think they look lovely, really set off the room 🙂 x
Maria: I just hated looking at that stark wall – it looked so cold and unwelcoming! x
Mountaingoat: That’s what I thought! I wanted something they wouldn’t grow out of too quickly. x
Missing Sleep: Thank you! I just love the colours too. Makes the room seem so much more inviting. x
