In H&M the other day, trying to find an outfit for Lil Sis’s birthday, I asked Big Sis to keep her occupied for a few seconds while I sorted through a nearby clothes rack.
When I turned back – literally two minutes later – Big Sis had pulled every single soft toy off the shelf and buried her sister underneath them. She also had a couple of pairs of socks and a furry hat on her head.
Big Sis had done exactly as I asked, so I couldn’t be annoyed. Took me bloody ages to put them all back too…

How fab! Hope she didn’t scream too much when you took them all off her xx
How mean of you not to buy them all for her 😉
I’m surprised she didn’t scream and that you were able to take them away from her. Little M got hold of some Innocent drinks at Waitrose the other day and I coudn’t pry them away! Can’t believe I ended up buying them. Must. be. stronger.
Karen: Actually, she just seemed relieved. It was probably a bit claustrophic under the teddy avalanche!! x
Midlife Single Mum: If it had happened to Daddy, he would have! (He’s a sucker for a bit of teary pleading…) x
Maria: I think she was too relieved to see daylight to worry about losing her teddy stash 😉
That is such a cute pic – great taste in Hello Kittys – plural obvs! Cx
Haha! I read this on my mobile but couldn’t se the picture and it’s suc a faff to comment on the mobile. Great post – really made me chuckle.
What a great big sister. Isn’t it great when they try to help?!!
