I chose this pic for this week’s Gallery because Big Sis actually took it a few weeks ago, purely by accident. She was messing about with my iPhone, probably trying to find videos of herself to watch (she gets her vanity from her father) and managed to snap Lil Sis taking a wee apple break.
I love the way she’s got the composition spot on, and the blurred movement of Bub’s hand. It’s either a lucky fluke, or I’ve got the next Annie Lebowitz on my hands. (Let’s hope it’s the latter – kerrr-ching!!!)

As for the hexagons… I didn’t write the pattern down, but looking at them I think I cast on about 8 stitches, then increased either end of the knit rows only until I had 16, then began decreasing each end of the knit rows until I was back to 8. Doubleknit and size 4mm needles. Sorry, but that’s about it!
