This is ‘Me. Right now’. Well, technically, it’s ‘Me. Yesterday afternoon’.
That’s when I took this pic for the Sticky Fingers Gallery, I just didn’t have time to post it until now. Because that’s how you roll when you’re a Mum – your children come first, and you make do with the time left over at the end of the day (if there is any).
You may notice I look bloody knackered. Lil Sis had been battling a nasty tummy bug since the weekend. It started with vomiting, then made its way south (if you know what I mean…) so I’d had even less sleep than usual for the previous three nights.
Yesterday, exhausted from throwing up, she spent most of the day sitting on my lap, her flushed cheek practically glued to my chest. Poor mite.
So there it is – ‘Me’ immortalised in a slightly puke-stained moment of Motherhood. It ain’t glamorous or exciting – but then real life rarely is…
Ooo it sounds like Lil Sis and my Bibsey have been going through the same thing. Everything coming out of both ends. We have been house bound (and cuddling on the sofa) for five days. Hope all is well very soon. BM x
