Mummy’s Little Monkey – A Smile!!

I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to take part in this week’s Sticky Fingers Gallery, since Lil Sis decided to make her world debut last week, two weeks early, and taking us completely off guard (yes, I know – we should have been more organised, but Big Sis was two weeks late, and I just assumed her lil sister would be the same).
However, as luck would have it, our newest family member happens to be ‘The Most Chilled Baby In The World™’. She sleeps like a baby (see what I did there?) thoughtfully leaving me with enough time to trawl through my photo archives and dig out this out to fit this week’s theme ‘A Smile’.
It was taken last summer on Big Sis’ first bday party. The lurid pink, plastic monstrosity is a blow-up ball pit thingy that Daddy bought, not realising it was practically the size of Windsor Castle. As you can see, Big Sis just loved it, and spent the entire afternoon bouncing about in its fluoro pink innards.
After the party it sat in our back yard for weeks and weeks, until finally I snapped, stomped outside and popped it with my car keys. Daddy finally got the message, and disposed of the sad, deflated remains.
