PINT-SIZED SUPERMODEL // kids’ clothes from the latest next range

Next children's clothing - Big Sis in bright pink jacket

One of the great things about having a young daughter is that you can dress them up in all those clothes you can no longer get away with.

We all love the Next children’s clothing range, so here we have Big Sis modelling some of the gorgeous styles from spring/summer collection. Aren’t they just adorable?

I captured her wandering around our back garden, totally unaware that I was taking photos. That’s not entirely true… we’re actually in the Georgian gardens of the National Trust property West Wycombe Park, and I had to bribe her with a chocolate Easter Egg, and back-to-back episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before she’d cooperate.

But the styles from the Next children’s clothing range are gorgeous – that part is undeniably true!

I loved the adorable hot pink trench coat, prettily finished with a fabric floral broach, which was just the right weight for those warming temperatures. Big Sis was obsessed with the strawberry print on the second coat, and pretty much wore it 24/7 for the next week.

And how cute are these pink and orange striped wellies? Proof that you can be practical AND still look pretty darn cool at the same time.

After a day of gruelling fashion shoots, running around the grounds of the estate, throwing sticks into the pond and generally looking cute, I carted my mini-supermodel home for that well-earned sesh of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Thank you to Next children’s clothing for providing our items for review.

Mrs E: The strawberry jacket is my fav too! I just love those kitschy retro fabrics. x

Mummy Mummy Mum: It’s a gorgeous shade of pink. You can’t really see it on the pics, but there’s the cutest removeable flower on one shoulder too. x
