NOT ON THE HIGH STREET

Mother’s Day becomes more special to me each year, both because the girls understand the concept better as they get older, and because I appreciate my own Mum more and more.

To me the day is not about how much you spend (honestly!) but how much care and thought has gone into selecting a gift. Breakfast, a bouquet of picked wildflowers, and a cuddle from the girls would win out over a bottle of perfume any day.
