I’ve become slightly (extremely) obsessed with Instagram of late – @Jax2000 if you want to join my Instagang – and have started seeing every view as a potential IG shot. It’s not just me, right?
So when I passed this garage door the other day I made a little bookmark in my brain…
The other week I was kindly sent some VERTBAUDET jeans for the girls: I first discovered the french online brand when I was pregnant with Lil Sis, five years ago, and their clothes been a staple in the girls’ wardrobe ever since. I just love the classy European twist of the fashion range, and their pretty but practical homewares.
I picked a soft lilac for Big Sis, to go with her dark hair and olive complexion, and this sunny citrus colour for Lil Sis. She has the most gorgeous hair colour – soft reddish blonde, with golden highlights that catch on fire in the sun – so I knew the yellow would go brilliantly.
When I clocked this white peeling backdrop I just knew it was the perfect contrast to the bright jeans, and the ideal spot to show off Lil Sis’s School Run Style. It was a rainy morning, hence the long-sleeved top, and the pink sunnies, pink plastic cocktail ring and green heart-shaped bracelet were the models’ own.

I love Vertbaudet clothes, I often buy something for my little god-daughters.
Their maternity stuff is great too – just a bit different from the ‘regular’ chain store clothes. x
