BEST PART OF BEING A MUM // the simple pleasures in life

simple family pleasures

Sometimes the best part about being a Mum is teaching your children the simple family pleasures of life.

Like pointing out the tadpoles that have hatched overnight in the little fish pond in your backyard, or showing them how to skip stones, or how to blow a dandelion clock.

Best of all, they don’t cost a single penny. What are your simple pleasures?

  1. When I was young, we had a hill in my backyard that we would roll down. Now that he is old enough to do it without getting scared (I think), I can’t wait to bring JD there to show him 🙂

Too many to list. Cuddles, watching the kids play nicely together, having in-depth conversations with 6 yo, teaching 14 mo to talk, walk, do jigsaw etc etc etc. can’t believe how quickly they grown-up.

  6. This is so true My daughter is only 17 weeks but we went for so many picnics and walks at the weekend. It was just lovely and I can’t wait to experience all the moments you talk about. x
