SWEET DREAMS! (bedroom makeover)

I’ve wanted to freshen up the girls’ bedroom for ages, and finally got the chance last weekend when OH took them to visit their Nanny for the weekend.

I got stuck in, stripping the room out, and painting the stark white wall a soft green. Then I applied some  wall decals, and fitted the bunk beds with these cute new ‘Enchanted Forest’ duvets.

There’s still a bit to do – there’s a whitewashed chest of drawers in the back of the garage that needs to be dragged up the stairs, and I have to stick the girls’ name letters back up on the wall, but what do you think so far??

I think wall stickers look so effective with little effort. Love the duvet set too. Lovely room without being overly girly

  7. sweet! How do your girls get on with the bunks: ours are separated at the moment but I am keen to get them back together because it will give them more Barbie floor space……

It was soooooo easy to put them up too! The room would have looked really bare without them, so I’m really pleased with them. x

Thank you! The room always looked unfinished after we renovated, and need some colour and warmth. Took me two years to get round to it, but I got there!!! 😉
