Thingy of the Week!!

Now if you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that my very first ‘Thingy of the Week’ was the Munchkin Snack Catcher.

I felt it was a time to revisit this US range, which is now available here in the UK. Why? Because they have loads of nifty, practical products, and, more importantly, they’re really reasonably priced!

So this time I’ve picked the funky Munchkin Sprout Drying Rack. Now, I’m not the most organised person. I live in  a modest London flat, with a small kitchen, and when I first started weaning Lucia on to bottles it drove me mad to have them littered everywhere, waiting to be sterilised. I was forever losing the collars, or the matching teats, or those little round plastic thingamajigs that stop the bottle from leaking.

Which is why I thought this drying rack was brilliant. Now only does it look kinda cool, it holds up to 12 bottles, food containers and cups, and has a central bucket to hold all those fiddly bits, like weaning spoons and lids. There is a built-in bottom tray, so excess water can be easily drained away, and smaller items such as collars and soothers can be dried on top.

I also loved the way it turned 360 degrees, for easy access to all the items. Best of all, it retails for just £9.99. Bargain!

The Munchkin Sprout Drying Rack is available from Asda and Wilkinsons stores.

  1. That looks amazing. When Chick was a baby it used to drive me nuts as well having all the bottles etc laying around!! What a great idea!
