Say WHAT??

My friend recently announced that she was three months pregnant with her second child.

She’s suffering from terrible morning sickness this time round, so you can imagine how she felt to have this recent conversation with her three-year-old son:

‘Mummy,’ he started, staring at her thoughtfully.
‘Yes darling,’ she replied.
‘The baby sure is making your bum big!’

Proof that honesty isn’t always the best policy…

    Oh no, how awful!

Good time to remind him that only ‘polite’ little boys get onto Santa’s list :-)!

As if you don’t feel rough enough while preggers, then you have to listen to comments like that, from the little beggars that came you the big bum in the first place!!!!! xx

Say What?

The following is a true story, passed on to me by the mother in question:

‘Mummeeeeeeeee…’
‘Yes Kate.’
‘Daddy’s real name is Daniel, isn’t it it?’
‘That’s right. And can you remember what Mummy’s real name is?’
Blank look.
‘What does Daddy call Mummy?’
Look of sudden comprehension.
‘Bitch!’

So, time to ‘fess up – what are the cringeworthy things your kids have said?

Emma: LOL! Count yourself lucky – it could clearly be a lot worse!! x

The Mad House: And apparently that’s one of the milder comments her kid have said over the years! 🙂

PhotoPuddle: Def one of those ‘I shouldn’t laugh, but I just can’t help myself’ situations. 🙂

Kidder frequently comes out with blighters, he said “Gordon Bennett” the other day and also called me a “Naughty Dog” last night.
