So we were basically crowned best-damn-parents-in-the-world this weekend after surprising the girls with this JumpKing bouncy castle. I’m not going to lie – we totally deserved every microsecond of the adulation. I mean, hello?! Look how fab it is!
It’s actually part of the Asda.com’s outdoor play range. (NB: this one has actually sold out now, but check out the others in the BOUNCY CASTLE range). Not the first thing you think of buying from a supermarket, sure, but why the heck not? It’s easy to buy online, and gets delivered straight to your front door (or you can reserve and pick up from your nearest store if you want to save the charge).
The girls have been pleading for a trampoline for a while now – or a jumpaline, as they insist on calling it – but we already had the girls’ playhouse and a big outside table, so we were loathe to permanently lose another big chunk of the back garden. So this was a perfect compromise; the girls had lots of jump-y fun, and we got to turn the air blower pump at the end of the afternoon and fold the JumpKing back inside its handy carry case. Brilliant!
Plus the safety net meant we didn’t have to worry about anyone bouncing themselves off and breaking an extremity. Just in time for the school holidays too – something tells me the girls are going to be VERY popular with their friends this summer…
