1: When she spots me across the room and yells ‘Mama!’ in her sweet little baby voice.
2: The way she’ll dance to anything – a television commercial, her musical toys, someone clapping…
3: When she wraps her chubby little arms around my neck, like she can’t bear to let me go.
4: The look of pure joy on her face when ‘Waybuloo’ comes on.
5: When I get her in the morning, and she’s standing in her cot waiting for me, with a big, grateful grin on her face.
6: Those 10 minutes in the morning, before she’s fully awake, when I get lots of lovely cuddles.
7: The way she tries to run everywhere – even though it always makes her fall over.
8: Her overexcited squeal when Daddy arrives home, and chases her down the hallway.
9: The way she genuinely believes her gibberish words are proper English.
10: When I get a kiss, without even asking for one.
That’s so lovely – makes me feel positively broody. Quite a thing for someone mildly child-phobic!
How sweet! Its the small things that make my heart melt
Sarah Lee and broody in the same sentence? Never thought I’d see the day!
New Mummy: And don’t those small things make all the rubbish things completely disappear (for a little while anyway…)

i’m just jealous that she’s in her cot come morning time! 😉
