If you’ve been reading my blog (you HAVE been reading my blog, right?) you’ll know we’ve started a new tradition this year, the CHRISTMAS BOOK ADVENT CALENDAR.
Basically you get 24 festive books and wrap them all up, then each night you and your children select one to open and read. The girls have adored it; it’s really ignited their passion for reading, not to mention the fact it’s been lovely to end each night all cuddled up together!
I’ve got to be honest though – 24 individual packages is a lot, and I’d been seriously dreading wrapping them all up.
But, in a stroke of timely luck, I’d also recently been sent the Scotch Pop-Up Tape Handband Dispenser to trial. I’m not joking when I say this invention is genius. It’s a little plastic sticky tape holder with an elastic band that allows you to wear it on your wrist. Inside the tape is pre-cut into strips, so all you have to do is pull each one free, and stick it down.
No more finding the end of the roll, or trying to tear off bits with your teeth. In fact it was so quick and easy that I ploughed through my book backlog in no time (you can check out some of them, above).
It’s NATIONAL WRAPPING DAY this Sunday, so make before you start to make inroads into your pressies pile, make sure you pick up a Pop-Up Handband (RRP: £2.59) and refill pack (RRP: £2.80). And don’t forget to visit the SCOTCH UK FACEBOOK PAGE for more info about their fab products.
Happy Wrapping everyone!
