There’s nothing like a bit of snow to bring out the big kid in everyone (OH was outside at midnight last night, by himself, making a snowman. Sigh.)
It’s also a magical experience for actual children, which is why we couldn’t wait to take Big Sis and Lil Sis over to the park today and let them loose in the snow.
As you can see, half of them loved it…
The other half, not so much…
Ah well, you can’t please all of the people, all of the time.

I’d be like Big Sis for about 10 minutes – after that I’m with Lil Sis. Love watching the snow from the window though, preferabley with a cup of something hot in my hands.
Midlife Single Mum: I know what you mean – the fairytale idea of snow is often better than the cold, wet reality! x
So sweet, I can totally feel the agony and the ecstasy of both sisters. Great pix! Your OH makes me giggle, all out building his nighttime snowman. Was he still there in the morning? (snowman, not actual man!)
B.A.T: Snowman WAS there the next morning, but one of his cherry tomato eyes had popped out and he looked reeeeeeeeally creepy!! Hope the party went OK – did the snow stop anyone from coming??? xx
I think it is harder for tiny tots to understand the fun of the freezing cold white stuff, it made me smile seeing the contrast between your 2 children! Looks like you had a good amount there, not a flake here in Cornwall much to the disappointment of our 6. thank you for linking up to Country Kids again
Awwww bless Lil Sis, that was pretty much Little Bean’s reaction the first time she ventured out in the snow too x
Lol i love that second photo. My little one wasn’t sure about the snow at all! x

We had a dumping of about 3 inches over night!!! Nothing at all today though, so it won’t last… x
It was quite funny really – she just wasn’t impressed in the slightest. It took me longer to get her dressed to go outside, than we actually SPENT outside… x
I think she was a bit freaked out by how different everything looked, and how if felt under her feet. Poor mite!!! x
oh bless your littlest sometimes the snow just isn’t any fun
