I love a good photo card, me.
Spare time is somewhat of an oxymoron in my life, so I find photo cards a simple, cute way to say thank you for birthday or Xmas presents, or to send a nice pic back to the grandparents in New Zealand.
When I was asked by a personalised card company to try out their online ordering service, I knew straight away which pics I wanted to use. The one above was taken a couple of months ago, when the girls were bridesmaid’s at a cousin’s wedding. You’ll usually find them in jeans and t-shirts, so both were super excited to have ‘Pwincess dresses’ and ‘pwetty shoes’ to wear.
The second is this shot, taken the same weekend near a lake in Devon. The girls might fight like sworn enemies, but more often they’re BEST of friends, and call each other ‘darling’. Naaaaaaaaw!
I just hope they always stay as close as they are in this photo.
Making the cards up was simple – at the moment PaperShaker are focused on weddings and birth announcements, but all the cards can be customised.
I chose a card template and removed all the wording, so it just had the photo of the girls. Then I left the other side blank, so it could be filled in for any occasion (BTW: the cards have simple white and grey borders – the stripey bit is our table cloth!).
Personalised cards are a quick, easy way to give thoughtfuls card to your loved ones.
Love these – the dresses are gorgeous!
