I get to hear about some really great events and causes, but I really loved the idea behind this one.
Online greetings card retailer, Card Town, is calling for thoughts and well wishes for the service men and women who’ll be parted from their loved ones this Christmas.
Leave a message on their FACEBOOK page, and they’ll squeeze as many as they can into a giant card, which will then be sent to Camp Bastion, in Afghanistan.
‘It’s difficult to imagine not being able to see your partner, or the faces of your children on Christmas morning,‘ says James Morgan, online marketing manager for Card Town.
‘We’re hoping that hundreds of messages of love and support will remind those based out there that while they’re not with us in body, they’re very much in our thoughts and that we wish them a peaceful Christmas and new year and hope to welcome them home soon.’
AND… for every message left, Card Town will donate 25p to Help For Heroes.
