So here’s me and Lil Sis with my bezzy mate Tamsin Outhwaite, who insisted we have a photo with her.
Actually, that’s not quite true. It is me and the mini-Monkey, and that is Tamsin Outhwaite – but she’s not really my best friend, nor did she ask to be photographed with me.
She was, however, lovely and friendly when we met her at the Fisher Price Play Party a few weeks ago, and sat very patiently as the Mummy Bloggers filed past, one by one, to be snapped alongside her.
That’s not to say that, given time, we couldn’t become bezzy mates, but to be honest, I’m a bit busy at the moment. I’m sure Tamsin Outhwaite understands.
I didn’t just rub shoulders with famous actresses at the Fisher Price event, I also got to catch up with some of my favourite Mummy Blogger friends (you know who you are, ladies!) and eat little cakes.
The kids had a blast too, trying out all the Fisher Price toys. We’re already a huge Fisher Price family – Big Sis just loves her Bounce ‘n Spin Zebra, while Lil Sis thinks her Precious Planet baby swing is just the best thing ever (and so does Mummy, since it puts her to sleep in minutes).
